***COVID Restrictions (UPDATED 2/12)***
In order to comply with Resolution 2020-44- Use of Face Masks in place by Shawnee County, SportZone has made the following changes -
- Everyone 3 yrs and older will be required to wear a Face Mask while INSIDE SportZone arena. Masks should be on before entering the facility.
- Players will be allowed to remove their masks once they begin warm ups prior to the start of their game or practice. Referees may remove their masks once they are ready for play.
-Please do NOT ARRIVE MORE than 15 MIN prior to your scheduled start time to help avoid crowding.
-Take temperatures before arriving at the arena. If it is 100.4 or higher, please do not come to the arena.
-If you cannot or will not wear a mask, we ask that you not attend games or practices for the safety of everyone.
-Coaches must have a mask on while on the sidelines
-Players and referees should put their masks back on after the conclusion of their practice or game including if they have a break between games.
-Spectators may remove their mask while eating/drinking then should put them back on after they have finished. During the time they are eating they should remain at minimum 6' apart from others.
-Disposable masks (limited supply) will be available for purchase at the concession stand if needed.
-We ask that a maximum of 2 guest per player or max of 20 per team whichever is less be in the arena at all times to help limit the number of individuals inside each day. Coaches do count against your per player/team limit. Please do not bring younger brothers or sisters as they count towards your count.
-All spectators should wear a mask entering and leaving the facility/fields. Outdoor activities will not REQUIRE masks IF individuals can adequately social distance themselves once they arrive at their game fields per the Resolution 2020-44. Spectators should put on their mask while moving around from the field (ex. to/from bathroom/concession and parking lot)
-As usual we ask everyone to follow basic health and safety guidelines: wash hands appropriately, stay home if you have been sick or around someone sick, been in an area on high number of Covid-19 cases.
